Terms and Conditions

©DSE-Services.co.uk is owned and operated by Bamis Limited, registered in England Company No. 6779081.

We provide online display screen equipment health and safety training and checklist risk assessment services. In order to do this, we will provide (on receipt of payment in advance) the following:

  1. Access to our online training environment for those who have registered and paid for the service. The online training programme requires the user to undertake a series of learning and assessment tasks which will enable them to undertake DSE risk assessment in the workplace of their sponsoring organisation. The training and assessment provided by the system is intended as guidance. Our guidance does not guarantee that the risk assessment decisions taken in the workplace are accurate. Workplace risk assessment decisions are those of the assessor making them and they are not overseen by dse-services.co.uk.
  2. We will provide read-only login accounts for the individuals (users) (or number of places) purchased at the time of enrolment. The number purchased must take into account the number of users per workstation, or the number of workstations used by individuals. If the original number of accounts purchased at enrolment is insufficient, addition accounts must be purchased before new users can be accommodated.
  3. The 'system manager' (i.e. the member of your staff nominated to oversee the process) will be issued with an administrator level control panel which will provide features to oversee/conduct the process.
  4. Fees are normally paid online via PayPal, debit or credit card. The system also provides an online invoicing arrangement which enables 'system managers' to print their own invoice for return with payment. Please note that in all cases payment must be received before user accounts can be issued.
  5. Each account will provide access for your assessor/user to complete an online assessment checklist in relation to one workstation. The checklist will provide users with a series of questions having 'yes' or 'no' answers. Where a question is answered as 'no', the assessor/user must add a text comment in the box(es) provided. This information is used for action planning purposes. Whilst our system checks for incomplete answers, we cannot accept responsibility for omissions of this kind.
  6. The person (herein known as the commissioning manager) who signs up for our service on behalf of an organisation will be given access to an online control panel which will enable him/her to view the progress of their associates' completion of the DSE checklists. The control panel will also provide an option to print individual DSE assessment summaries and an action plan.
  7. Fees charged are for a one year period (from the time of purchase. An annual renewal fee of 50% of the original fee will be charged if the organisation wishes to keep their assessment records online. Organisations are advised to print hard copies of their assessment results if they do not wish to maintain the hosting arrangement.
  8. Bamis Ltd may occasionally suspend the operation of the system for system maintenance purposes. We will endeavor to keep these periods as short as possible.
  9. We can provide printed risk assessments and action plans in the form of a 'DSE Service Pack' for an additional cost. Please choose this option at the time of enrolment should you wish to take it. We can also add company logos to these documents if required.
