Display Screen Equipment Training and Risk Assessment Management
Our aim is to supply the services you need to train staff to conform with the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 and to provide you with the facilities to complete online DSE risk assessments for your organisation based on our comprehensive display screen equipment hazard checklist.
As a result, you will have at least one member of staff who has been trained to conduct workstation DSE risk assessments together with detailed risk assessments based on individual responses from VDU workstation users.
Our online system caters for assessment of individuals who use more than one VDU workstation, or VDU workstations that are used by different staff during the course of a working day.

How is the Display Screen Equipment training carried out?
DSE training is carried out using our online virtual learning environment. The course contains both learning and assessment material in order to train and test understanding.
Certificates are awarded to candidates who meet the assessment criteria. These may be printed online, but also form part of the optional 'service pack'.
When is the DSE training available?
Our display screen equipment training is available at any time (night or day!) 365 days a year. The training is online and therefore can be accessed from any location having Internet access.
How much do your workstation assessment and DSE training services cost?
Our DSE system is both inexpensive and flexible.
We can provide 3 levels of support:
- Online DSE training for one or more members of staff + online VDU risk assessment of DSE users and their workstations
- Online DSE training for any number of staff
- Online DSE assessment for VDU users and workstations
Each is charged on a per user basis.
Fees for online display screen equipment user/workstation assessment start at £15 per user. The online DSE training costs £20 per user. In both cases, discounts are available for multiple bookings. Please register to obtain a no-commitment quotation.
'Service packs' are offered as an optional extra. 'Service packs' contain bound copies of your DSE Risk Assessments and original 'Certificates of Completion' for those who successfully undertake an online DSE training course.
How will staff complete a Display Screen Equipment Risk Assessment?
We set up an account for each member of staff nominated by you to undertake a DSE assessment. Display screen equipment assessments are then completed via this site in the form of a checklist which contains useful guidance notes. The outcomes are then summarised by us to provide you with an action plan to support the individual assessments.
When can we start DSE training?
Simply register, then either complete a quotation request, or order form via the Start Now! page.
We offer the following payment options:
- pay online using PayPal or a Debit/Credit card
- raise a self-print invoice via our payment page to be paid by BACS, cheque, or purchase order.
When full payment has been received, we will contact you within 2 working days with account log-ins for the staff that you nominate. Your staff will be able to access the system as soon as their accounts are set up. Download a leaflet (requires Adobe Reader)
Your nominated 'system manager' will have access to a control panel which will provide features which enables him/her to oversee the DSE assessment process.
